Traditions

This Thanksgiving was perfect! All of our family spent the holiday at my mom's, including my Grandam who came in from California! We had a great time plaing games, watching movies, cooking dinner, and laying around. Anything is FUN with you are with your family on the holidays!

For many years my mom, sister, and I look forward to BLACK FRIDAY! Some call us crazy but until you give it a try you are surely missing out on great times. This year we started out at 3:30 AM and finished up about 3:30 PM, yup that's right 12 hours of fabulous SHOPPING. This year we started at Jc Penney's because they had IPOD's that we needed for the kids...after that we headed to WAL-MART, which was unusually not crowded! However, this year Target was a mad house. The line wrapped around the entire building, people must have been waiting in line for hours. Not us, we just merged in with the crowd and got yelled at for not waiting in line. It was funny because we just ignored them and continued to merge to the front of the line! We raced to the toy section and got what we wanted within 5 minutes! By the time we got outside the end of the line still had not made its way in yet!! I think the best part about this kind of shopping is watching all of the crazy people fight over electronics. Seriously people get pushed around and items get grabbed out of your hands by crazy women who need to save $10! Every year we have a blast and look forward to the next Black Friday!

Another tradition we have is going to get pedicures after our big day of shopping! All the running around sure takes a toll on our little feet! This year Grandma treated all of the girls to pedicures...they were fabulous! Thanks Grandma for a great day!

Friday evening we all got in our PJ's and headed down to the theater room for a Christmas movie, popcorn, and candy! We watched the Polar Express and had a great time! Thanks to my Mom & Steve for hosting such a great weekend for our family!

THANKFUL TIMES

Thanksgiving is a great time of year to reflect upon all of the things we are so thankful for. Of course I am very thankful for my health, my sweetheart, the area in which I live, my great friends, my testimony, and life in general. But something that I realize, especially during the holidays, is how WONDERFUL my family is. We have such a great time together playing games, laughing, sharing funny memories, watching the kids grow, and just being us! I am so thankful for my sweet MOM. She is my best friend, we do everything together. She is very motivating and has such a great loving personality. I am so thankful that we have such a strong bond. I am serious when I say I would rather spend girl time with my mom and sister over anybody else. My mom picks me up when I am down and laughs with me when we are together. Thank you for being such a perfect mom!

I am so thankful for my sweet hubby who is absolutely PERFECT. I have to say that the three years Phil and I have been married I have never seen him in a bad mood. I am being 100% serious, this man is AMAZING. I love that he loves the Gospel and has such a strong testimony. He puts up with one of the most difficult wives I know...ME! What a great blessing it has been for us to spend three great years together! I love that he loves me and tells me everyday how thankful he is to have me! Thanks to the best husband around, I love him very much!

A "LITTLE" Behind.....

So I know this is almost a month late but I wanted to post some Halloween pictures of our family! I really couldn't decide what to dress Lily as so I had a few different costumes for her! However, I only got a picture with one of her outfits! Phil and I went to a couple of Halloween parties this year and had a blast. I love to just dress up and be goofy!

OH MY LITTLE PUPPY DOG!

My sweet little Lily had surgery the other day. We really wanted her to have one set of puppies but she is just way too small and I worried about how she would handle it. So we took the plunge and had her fixed. It was so sad dropping her off...I know she is just a dog but I was seriously so nervous for her all day! She did great though and was up and running around a few days later! I don't know how you mothers do it when your kids get sick...I can only imagine how hard that would be. I was so concerned about my little puppy! Enjoy the cute pictures of our little Lily!
