Cute Little Wife..

It's Whitney's birthday today and I just wanted to make a post to tell her that she is such an amazing person. She deserves the best birthday ever because she has worked so hard this year and she still has time to deal with me. That may be the biggest job ever. I can't wait to see what she does with the next year of her life. She always seems to accomplish so much in such a short time. I am very proud of her and I love her so much!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Little Luck! From Hubbs

UNFORGETABLE NIGHT

It doesn't get much better than spending a romantic night away with your husband and friends!Trisha and I planned a fun night away with our hubbies! We had the idea on Thursday and scrambled to find a sitter for their kids so we could have a ‘romantic’ night out! Our date started out with dinner at my company’s condo at the American Towers downtown! Of course the boys had no idea what we were doing we just had them show up at 7:00…as we were walking up to the room they were so confused! We had a yummy candle lit dinner and then headed to the BLUE BOUTIQUE (wink..wink!!) After we went to the Melting Pot for some delicious chocolate fondue and then headed back to the condo to go hot tubing! The hot tub is on the 27th floor and overlooks the city..it was an amazing view! Now keep in mind Trish and I just kept pulling out surprises…but our last surprise WILL NEVER BE TOPPED! As we were all talking in the hot tub a group of boys decided to join us and one of them happened to be, my favorite Jazz player, Kyle Korver! My mouth about dropped…who’s wouldn’t…he is gorgeous! I think Phil was on cloud nine too...he sleeps, eats, and breathes Utah Jazz basketball! After about an hour of chillin with Kyle in the hot tub we headed to his condo to play rock band! That’s right, we played rock band with Kyle Korver until 2AM! He is the nicest guy and was so cool to hang out with. Did I mention he is HOT? I guess we now know what NBA stars do in their spare time…play rock band. He was amazing and I must say I was pretty darn good at singing Alanis while standing next to Kyle jammin on the drums!

A night we will never forget!

he is so tall....keep in mind i am barefoot!

*disclaimer: that is not a bottle of wine in Phil's hand...he was worried that some might think it was! we celebrated with the hard stuff...MARTINELLIS APPLE JUICE!

Old Friends

Whitney H. Amy. Me. Mandy. Steph. Natalie
It's always so much fun to hang out with the GIRLS. A few weeks ago some of my long lost dancing gals met up for dinner and girl talk! It was so much fun to see these girls, most of them I haven't seen for 10 years! We all used to dance together at Elite Academy in Salt Lake..us six were on the Elite team together and spent many HOURS...at least 3 or 4 times a week practicing together! We had so much fun watching old dance videos...some from when we were all 9 and 10 years old doing 'PEE-WEE Chearleading!' Thanks girls for a fabulous night!

Catching Up

Today I vow to be a better BLOGGER! Life has been so busy this fall; between full time work and full time school I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next event of the day! School is fabulous; I absolutely love everything about it. I am on track to graduate in a few short semesters and then hopefully on to get my masters shortly after! This semester is coming to end in three short weeks and I have a lot of final papers still to do! Let’s just say that when it’s time for California I am going to be GOOD AND READY! RockBand Live Concert was a not exactly what I had in mind. Let's just say next time I will wait until Dashboard Confessional is touring SOLO!
October was a busy month and probably one of the warmest that I can remember. We enjoyed a Murder Mystery party hosted by our good friends Rob and Natalie...we will definitely be hosting one next year!
Can you still Trick-or-Treat in your twenties? I guess not...but I managed to solve that problem by stealing my niece Kiley so I could partake of the festivities. What a darling little pirate she is. I think she loved having all of the attention and getting so much more candy than her brothers!
